Great Cisco© Exam Prep Books!

There are so many good books out there from which to choose.  If you find a book you like, simply click on its picture to find out more.  Most of the books are for the CCNA exam, but I now have some listed for the CCNP exams, such as the Routing exam (BSCN course) and the Switching exam (BCMSN course).

CCNA Exam (640-801)

NEW - 4th Edition!
Todd Lammle has just released a new edition of his famous book called CCNA Study Guide - 4th Edition that helps prepare you to pass the new 640-801 exam. This is probably the best study guide for the prospective CCNA.  This edition includes practice exam questions and electronic flash cards for PC's and Palm devices.

In addition Lammle's book listed above, you should get the acclaimed virtual lab platinum edition to give you hands-on experience as you to create a simulated lab of up to four switches, three routers, and six hosts. You can follow the 84 lab exercises provided or experiment with the hundreds of configuration commands built into the simulator.

Wendell Odom now has a new CCNA Certification Guide for the 640-801 exam.  He provides different strategies for using the book based on your preparation to date, including networking academies and the ICND course.
I've heard great stuff from students and others  about CCNA Routing & Switching Exam Prep, 2E.  I know of a person coming from the MCSE world who used only this book.  The tear-out cheat sheet is pretty handy also.

Believe it or not, CCNA for Dummies is not a bad reference guide, and is also a good exam cram book.

CCNP Routing Exam (640-503)

Todd Lammle's CCNP Routing study guide has received great reviews.  Be advised that is is not light reading!
The Exam Cram Routing study guide is one of the better books put out by this company in terms of matching exam requirements.

CCNP Switching Exam (640-504)

The Exam Cram Switching book may be all you need.  In fact, many folks have actually passed this exam using only this book.
If you've ever studied a Todd Lammle book, you know how well he can prepare you for an exam.  His CCNP Switching book is no exception.
