Windows 95 (Exam 70-64)
In April 1998, Micro$oft replaced exam 70-63 with 70-64. One of the primary reasons for this change in exams was to bring the test more in line with the newer Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC 798), which replaced MOC 540. What made 70-63 so difficult was the fact that the exam was based upon the older Course 540, which was much longer than Course 798 in length and in material covered. For example, the modules covering Exchange, Briefcase, Plug-n-Play, and User Interface are completely omitted from 798, but constitute many of questions on the 70-63 exam! Fortunately for the aspiring MCSE who has studied MOC 798, the new exam has NO questions from these now-missing modules!
A good friend took the new Windows 95 exam. Check out his thoughts here.
Of course, for info on the new exam, visit Micro$oft's preparation guide at http://www.microsoft.com/mcp/exam/stat/SP70-064.htm
Because much of the material is the same between the two exams, it still wouldn't hurt to study some of the study tips and guides from 70-63. I will continue to list them below:
