The Liljengrens of Smaland, Sweden
There is a main line of Liljengrens who hail from Marback Parish in Smaland, Sweden. They emigrated to Minnesota first in the 1800s; then some went north to Canada, others to the west.
Descendants in America have long roots back in Smaland, Sweden, and Gloria Liljengren Anderson Pihl Crocker has traced this family back to the 1400s. She does have a database on the Reunion Software, if anyone is interested.
Gloria is very interested in maintaining contact with any relatives. She is searching in particular for relatives of Karl Liljengren, who emigrated from Minnesota to Idaho around 1900. He went by the name Charley Hill at the end of his life. His descendants live in the Spokane area, she believes.
